Good Tuesday morning! I was debating what to post this morning when I ran across a blog post about Organizing your Purse. The blog is called Morganizewithme.com. She had such great ideas and reading the post motivated me to grab my purse and see what could be done about it.
Organization in general is not something I’m very good or consistent with and it is something I want to be great at doing. Getting rid of clutter is supposed to help calm you. We are all working on that here at my house. Clearing clutter. But, it is a Sllooowww process!
Anyway, on the blog I mentioned, the blogger asked what is the strangest thing in your purse? So I dug through mine and found a hand-held paper fan given to me at a birthday party of a 70-year-old friend this summer. Not just any fan, but an Elvis fan! Don’t laugh, this fan actually came in handy the other day. A friend was feeling a tad nauseated and used the fan to cool down.
Several weeks ago, Pat and I and his brother and sister-in-law, went to Casino night at Randolph AFB. It is a blast! I play Roulette and I’m learning Blackjack. I still had a blackjack cheat sheet in my purse.
I also have a pillow sham for Jolie’s new bedroom tucked away in my purse in case we need to match it to something. Like paint. We went to Home Depot yesterday and chose some paint samples to try on her bedroom walls.
Of course, I have Plunder Design jewelry catalogs in my purse. I may need to give those out to people who complement my jewelry. Pretty soon I will have a Fall catalog in there as well. Plunder debuts a new Fall line in September. I can’t wait! If you would like a catalog, message me at email@example.com.
Then my purse is overflowing with store receipts, BB&B 20 percent off coupons, vet bill receipts, old playbills, etc. It is past time to purge!
(purge, purge, purge)
Two hours later, I’m back! It feels SO good to have a tidied, freshened up purse. If I get nothing else accomplished today, at least I’ve done that! I have learned that we need to go to Zoe’s Kitchen to use a gift card and then go to the movies afterwards to use remaining Regal Card credit. The dogs are due for grooming, I don’t need my OB/Gyn’s business card anymore, and I have $8 in Bloom credit to use in August at Rainbow Garden. Are you wondering if the Elvis fan made the cut? Yep, still in the purse. You never know when you need Elvis to cool you down.
As always, please Like and Share and Comment and Subscribe to the blog. It helps get my blog out to more people as well as gives me warm fuzzies!Patti
